Ein Geschenk zum 18. Geburtstag/ a present to the 18th birthday

Meine Cousine ist 18 geworden und wie so üblich bei diesem Geburtstag hat sie sich Geld gewünscht, um ihren Führerschein zu machen.
Also habe ich ihr ein kleines Tütchen gemacht und entsprechend verziert.
Sie hat sich total gefreut, in das Tütchen rein habe ich noch einen kleinen Schutzengel gepackt, damit er immer auf sie aufpaßt, wenn sie fährt.

My cousin turned 18 and as usual for this birthday she wanted to have money to make her driver´s licence.
So I made this little present for her and decorated it accordingly.
She was so happy when I gave it to her, inside I put a little guardian angel to watch over her when she is driving.

Just Magnolia challenge

Bei Just Magnolia gibt es diese Woche einen tollen Sketch von Mina.
Im Moment bin ich richtig im Sketch-Fieber, die machen mir richtig Spaß.
Ich habe mich für die "Pink Tilda with striped thights" entschieden und ihr einen kleinen Glitzerstein in den Haaren spendiert. Und mir war nach lila, irgendwie gefällt mir die Farbe für das Motiv.

At the moment I´m in a sketch fever, I like them a lot.
I decided to use the "pink Tilda with striped thights" this time and gave her a little rhinestone for her hair. And I did it in purple, that way I like it for this image.

Stampavie DT call

Stampavie sucht ein neues Mitglied im DT und ich möchte mein Glück versuchen.

Ich mag die Motive so gerne und mag gerne neue Sachen ausprobieren und mag die Anforderungen, die sie an ihre DT Mitglieder stellen, ich hoffe so sehr, daß ich eine Chance habe.

Für meine Karte dazu habe ich mich für ein Lelo Motiv aus der neuen Kollektion entschieden.

Ich habe das Motiv mit Prismas und Sansodor coloriert, den orangen Cardstock habe ich mit meinem Stamping Wheel von SU! gestempelt, den Martha Stewart Stanzer genommen, den ich im Moment irgendwie für jede Karte benutzen könnte, und dann habe ich mich an den Blümchen ausgetobt, weil ich es richtig schön üppig blumig haben wollte. Ich habe in jede Blüte einen Knopf mit Scrapper´s Floss angebracht.

For my card I decided to use the Lelo image from her new collection. I colored it with Prisma´s and Sansodor, on the orange cardstock I added the stamping wheel by SU!, then used the Martha Stewart punch which I could currently use for any card and then I used many flowers because I wanted to have loads of them *haha* For each bloom I added a little button with scrapper´s floss.

Ich habe gerade mal meine Dateien durchstöbert und bin auf etwas gestoßen, was ich euch unbedingt einmal zeigen möchte.

I was looking through my files and found something which I really want to show you.

Vor einigen Jahren waren mein Schatz und ich in Florida und ein Stopp war in Orlando.
Horst sagte mir damals, daß auf jeden Fall ein Besuch in einem Disneypark ein Muß ist. Ich hatte damals keine Lust, weil ich dachte, daß es totaler Kinderkram ist, aber er ließ sich nicht erweichen, ich durfte mir einen Park aussuchen, aber einer war Pflicht.
Also dachte ich mir, wenn schon dann das volle Programm und suchte mir den Magic Kingdom aus.
Und, was soll ich sagen, ich war total begeistert und wir verlängerten unseren Aufenthalt, um auch noch in Sea World und das Epcot Center zu gehen.

A couple of years back me and hubby have been to Florida and one stopp was in Orlando. At that time Horst told me that a visit in a Disney park is a must. I didn´t want to, I thought that this is childish but he insisted that one park of my choice is a must.
So I thought to myself let´s do the full programm and chose the Magic Kingdom.
And, what should I tell you, I was so fascinated that we stayed longer to see Sea World and the Epcot Center as well.

Alle drei Parks haben mir gefallen, aber im Epcot Center konnte man auch noch coole Sachen machen wie den Buzz Lightyear Blaster. Das ist ein kleines Raumschiff, mit dem man durch die Bahn fährt und auf alles mögliche schießen muß mit einer kleinen Pistole und man erhält Punkte. Zwei Leute sitzen in einem Raumschiff und am Ende der Tour konnte man ein Bild, was während der Fahrt gemacht wurde, zu sich nach hause schicken.
Schaut euch das bitte an, ich voll bei der Sache, Mund auf, totale Konzentration und ist ja klar, ich habe gewonnen *hahaha*

I liked all the three parks but in the Epcot Center you could do cool stuff like this Buzz Lightyear Blaster. This is a little spaceship driving through space and with a little gun you have to shoot on a lot of things to gather points. Two people can sit in one spaceship and at the end of the tour you can send a picture to your home which they took from you during the tour.
And look at this, me totally on fire, mouth open, fully concentrated and of course, I´m the winner *hahaha*



Ich wollte euch dieses Bild natürlich nicht vorenthalten und solltet ihr irgendwann einmal die Gelegenheit haben nach Orlando zu kommen kann ich euch einen Besuch in einem Disneypark wirklich empfehlen.

Es ist wieder kühler / It´s cooler again

Nachdem sich die Wettersituation bis zum Ende des Wochenendes immer weiter zugespitzt hat ist es jetzt endlich kühler geworden. Es hat auch einige Male ziemlich geregnet, was ich im Moment aber nicht so schlimm finde, weil die Pflanzen sich erholen und aufatmen.

The weather situation was getting hotter and hotter during the weekend but now finally it´s cooler. We also had some rain recently but I don´t be sad about it because the flowers are really taking a breath now and relax.

Nancy hat eine tolle neue Kollektion als Vorbestellaktion gehabt und ich habe mir eine der beiden Platten bestellt. Freitag kam sie bei mir an und ich habe sie direkt montiert und mit dem colorieren begonnen. Die Motive sind so knuffelig, da konnte ich nicht widerstehen.

Nancy has a new collection on pre-order and I ordered one of the two plates. Friday they arrived and I mounted them directly and started coloring them. The images are so damn cute I couldn´t resist.
